UTD heated vest

UTD heated vest is available in different models depending on your needs. The model that you see above in the picture is the outdoor model, where the battery is splash proof but not totally waterproof and it is to wear inside the dry suit, 60 minutes burn time at top heat. We would recommend the Adventurer model that just came out where the battery is housed a totally sealed little canister.
If you need more than 60 minutes, you would have to choose the explorer system that include an external plug to plug into your canister pack.
We are using the heated vest here in Mexico only for very long dives during the deco time when you don't move much, it is an incredible relief...now we can enjoy our deco more comfortably.
We believe it is a great product especially for cold water diving and long deco times, once you try it you will be addicted to it!!!
The possibility to adjust the temperature is a plus and we like that idea, the waterproof battery and accessory is great, in case of a small dry suit leak you are not risking to have to change the battery.
Teaching cave diving down here, its is also nice to have the option for that particular day when you feel colder then normal to use this during surface interval debriefings...even if to be honest we don't really need it down here.
Having the heated vest you can have the possibility to wear fewer undergarments, therefore less weight will be needed, leaving you light but warm.
